This event is aimed at participating teams and individuals taking part in the Alice's Adventures Off the Map competition: http://gamecity.org/alices-adventures-off-the-map/

It is an opportunity to find out more about the competition and to ask British Library Curators about this year's sub-themes and selected collection items.

Schedule:

12:50 – Meet at the front desk and get taken to Panizzi room

13:05 – Welcome and introduction to the Off the Map competition, Stella Wisdom & Chloe Smith

13:25 – The 150th anniversary of Alice in Wonderland , the British Library’s upcoming exhibition, our manuscript & printed collections relating to Lewis Carroll, Helen Melody & Tanya Kirk

13:50 – The Oxford theme, Tom Harper

14:00 – The Underground theme, Tom Harper

14:10 – The Gardens theme, Tom Harper

14:20 – Sounds chosen for Alice’s Adventures Off the Map, Cheryl Tipp

14:30 – Half the group go into the boardroom to see objects & ask curators questions, half the group stay in Panizzi room to hear Chloe and Stella talk about the rules of the competition

15:00 – The groups swap over

15:30 – All attendees gather in Panizzi room for any final questions, before then being taken back into the public Library area.
